I’m impressed. Really. I am. Action Books not only publishes great poets (like fellow Tucsonan, Brent Hendricks), but they’re also very keen on graphic design. All of the books featured on their website are beautiful. I’m a sucker for good design, but good design and poetry… Whodathunkit? Even though paper-media is nearly dead, I hope twenty-ten will be the year of the small-press so publications like AB and Sonora Review will flourish and expand their readership to a Gaga-gillion…
However, we are in the digital-teens and need to embrace the multi-interdisciplinary realm of the internetz (from FxceBxxk to Yxu Txbe, WxrdPrxss to Fxrums). So, let’s publish books that are beautiful, post blogs that are bodacious, create events, link, think, start spreading the word(s), and hook a mothafucka up everynowandthan.
