Crissy Burgstaler: The skirt is a hand-painted Mexican circle skirt from the 50’s that I scored at St. Vinnie’s for 6 bucks (one of my most exciting finds yet). The blouse is from the 40’s and was given to me by my dear friend, Adrianne. The velvet coat is late 50’s/early 60’s from the none-other, How Sweet It Was on 4th Ave. The necklace is green glass in art deco style from the 20’s/early 30’s, also from How Sweet It Was. Too bad I took off my shoes at this point in the night because they were some amazing green heels from the 40’s, also from How Sweet It Was. I guess it’s safe to say that just about everything I wear is either from the shop or from thrifting adventures.
I am currently reading Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov. Dmitry’s trial just started so I have to go now.
