Eyes towards the sky
ㅤㅤㅤit’s hard to discern what’s real
When all is bathed in stardust
It covers your skin
like the glitter gel you covered your body in
at twenty
ㅤㅤㅤㅤsweating out your trauma
on the dancefloor
You got caught in the aura
of the man on the moon
Transfixed by his glow
not realizing/refusing to see
ㅤㅤㅤthat he turns men into werewolves
and lights the path of vampires
ㅤㅤㅤbeckoning them
to come out from the shadows
as he also
ㅤㅤㅤbeckoned you
But for the moment
the sky’s a twinkling backdrop
ㅤㅤㅤthe essence of all that was
all that is
and all that is to come
ㅤㅤㅤswirled together like a supernatural neapolitan sundae
you are the cherry on top
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤyou are one with eternity
Time doesn’t exist in this space
ㅤㅤㅤexploring the universe
that exists within you
Eyes towards the sky
ㅤㅤㅤit’s hard to discern what’s real
When all is bathed in stardust
