Zaira Gomez is an emerging writer and was recently accepted into the Juniper Summer Institute 2023 at Amherst, MA. Zaira live’s in Pennsylvania and is working on her first chapbook entitled, “I am Safe, I am Me.” As a queer Mexican femme, Zaira explores themes of childhood, femininity, sexuality and what healing looks like after the trauma.
